Green Valley: Plots near Tirunelveli IT Park

"Green Valley" is an Approved Residential Layout in Gangaikondan, 15 km from Tirunelveli and 3.5 km from the Tirunelveli IT Park and the Gangaikondan SIPCOT and SEZs.

An IT/ITES (Information Technology/Information Technology Enabled Services) Special Economic Zone (SEZ) / IT Park is coming up in Gangaikondan in a 500 acre area. The proposed SEZ is being promoted by ELCOT and will house major Software and BPO companies. Major companies like Sutherland Global Services, Hexaware Technologies, Syntel, AES, HOV have already taken space or applied for allocation of land within the IT Park. The ELCOT SEZ has been allocated land within the functional SIPCOT Industrial Growth Centre in Gangaikondan spread around 1400 acres. This IT Park is all set to commence before the end of 2010.

Naga's Enclave: Plots near Nanguneri SEZ

Nanguneri SEZ is one of the largest SEZ projects in India, being developed in a 2500+ acres area. This is the first multi-product SEZ in Tamil Nadu and the project is being implemented by AMRL International Tech City Ltd, a joint venture effort of AMR Group of Hyderabad and TIDCO.

The Central government had given notification for the SEZ on November 18, 2008. The infrastructure development work for the SEZ has commenced on December 02, 2008 and the first phase of work on 30 acres of the 2,520 acre-SEZ would be completed by September 2010; the second phase of infrastructure work would be completed by December 2010 and the first consignment of products from this SEZ will be exported before March 31, 2011.
