Relief Foundation is a non-profit organisation working for children and families. We improve relationships within families across economic strata stabilising them towards a better future. We have so far worked in the last 5 years with more than 6000 families with children of all ages, changing their perspective to life, and parenting responsibilities.

We are a group of Engineering professionals by Qualification, Family Counsellors by learning and experience, with a passion to strengthen the society from within family units through Social Engineering and individual participation.

In this context our work is centered around children who are marginalised due to negative outcomes in the society and families.

Our projects are pivoted in the following areas:

Juvenile Justice - Co-management of Government Juvenile Homes in the city of Chennai as a partnership program with the government, to provide value added services with funds raised by us, to the children entering and leaving the juvenile justice system to benefit about 2000 children every year.

Education and prevention of Delinquency and drop outs - Counseling, Sponsorship and Support programs in the field of education for children, besides supervising the schools for underprivileged children run by Shriram Group of companies. Implementation of Montessori based Education programs for children in Balwadis. This program benefits about 2500 children every year. We conduct positive parenting programs for parents of school going children.

Volunteering - Placement of local and International volunteers in our projects for improved participation by the society, besides flow of resources - time, information and donations.

We are presently seeking support for promoting the concept of co-management of Government Balwadis, and schools, from our positive learning experience from the Juvenile Homes.
